This book is a simplified version of the events for children. The story of the town that was built by Herod about 25-13 BC as the port city Caesarea Maritima and served as an administrative center of Judean Province of the Roman Empire, and later the capital of the Byzantine Palaestina Prima province during the classic period. After many wars conquests, the Jewish town of Caesarea was established near the ruins of the old city, which were made into the national park Caesarea Maritima.
Includes a glossary explaining terms in a why little ones can understand.
