Kursi
The video is an aerial view of ruins a Byzantine Christian monastery in Kursi, Israel. The site is located east of the Sea of Galilee on the bank of a river bed descending from the Golan Heights. The ruins of the monastery were excavated between 1971 and 1974 after they were unearthed by road construction crews the year before.
The area of Kursi is significant to many Christians because it has been identified by tradition as the site where Jesus healed two men possessed by demons.
A large herd of pigs was feeding there on the hillside. The demons begged Jesus to let them go into them, and he gave them permission. When the demons came out of the man, they went into the pigs, and the herd rushed down the steep bank into the lake and was drowned. Luke 8:32-33
